A useful flight report

Example
FlightAI2812
Date22 Oct
What looked wrongThe landing time said 03:38, but it landed at 04:10.

The flight number, the date and what you saw are all it takes. A screenshot helps too.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Quick answers, before you write.

Why does it say the position is estimated?

Volunteer receivers don't cover everywhere: over the sea and parts of India, none may hear the plane for a while. Until one does, the page estimates where the plane is from its speed and route, and says so.

Why is the landing time different from the airline's?

Our estimate is for touchdown, worked out from where the plane is and how fast it's going. Airlines usually show arrival at the gate, about 5 to 10 minutes later. Times taken from the airline's schedule say when they were last updated.

My flight isn't found. What can I do?

Check you've typed the flight number from your ticket (AI2812, not a radio callsign like AIC2812), and pick the right day on the flight page: yesterday, today or tomorrow. Very new or charter flights may not be in the schedules yet.

Can you add my airport or airline?

Any flight can already be tracked by its number. The airport and airline pages cover India's busiest airports and well-known airlines; write in to suggest one that's missing.

It's free, with no ads, no accounts and no tracking cookies. Your recent searches stay in your own browser. The privacy page has the details. Read the privacy page.
